The Gotlands

Four Gotland Ewes - individually priced at $600 each, reduced to $500 each as a group. See each link for more information about each of them. As I mentioned, all four of them are very friendly, easy to handle and we love their fiber. Zinka and Gustine both gave us triplets this year. Eva gave us twins and she is Zinka's daughter so she could easily produce triplets. Greta took and produced single huge ram lamb, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get him pulled fast enough for him to survive. He was breech. We think she will continue to produce well and this was just some bad luck associated with the upbreeding with a large ram, her young age, and having been a bit overfed during pregnancy.

We would love to include these three fiber wethers in the package for $600 (priced individually at $800-$1200 each). Their fiber will be excellent for making felted rugs! Butch (Eva's boy) is currently still intact but can be wethered. Bucky (Gustine's boy) is one of our favorite wethers on personality and Butch is one of our favorites on cuteness. We think Blu (Zinka's boy) is going to have outstanding fiber. This whole crew really wins on confidence and personality. We like the idea of the girls getting to bring a little of their family with them.
