Rancho Relaxo Farm

Welcome to Rancho Relaxo — a boutique Valais Blacknose sheep breeding program based in Oregon’s Hood River Valley. Rooted in heritage and guided by intentional, small-batch care, we raise our flock with a focus on fleece quality, conformation, and calm, social temperament.

Our lambs are handled daily, and raised to thrive—whether as breeding stock, fiber animals, or beloved pasture companions. With elevation just under 2,000 feet and seasonal grazing on a hillside therapy farm, our sheep are exposed to varied terrain, trailer travel, and human interaction—all of which builds resilience, friendliness, and flock confidence.

We are proud to work with two exceptional purebred rams—PV Captain Fantastic and HoneyGlass Jeb—whose genetics shape each new lamb crop with purpose and precision. As we continue to upgrade toward the Swiss Valais Blacknose standard, our flock has already earned recognition in the show ring, including recent Grand Champion honors at the Black Sheep Gathering.
